Most SP types have unusual abilities and are able to greatly influence the direction of the battle through unconventional means. Each team is limited to having one SP type. SP - The type that provides certain bonuses and support effects to their team. However, they have weak defenses and run out of Ki very quickly. When performing coordinated attacks, BS type characters are able to destroy their opponent’s Hero Energy and greatly hinder their strategy. When performing coordinated attacks, EL type characters are able to recover their Ki slightly so they can continue fighting for multiple rounds at a time without needing a break.īS - The all-out offensive type that specializes in providing your team with extra raw power in order to deal extensive amounts of damage.

EL characters are known to control the development of the battle through their use of stunning enemies. This type is easy to use and is especially beginner-friendly.ĮL - The type that specializes in Ki-based attacks. Their Battle Power rapidly increases if they perform coordinated attacks and they are able to make easy use of Super Attacks and Ultimate Unit Effects. HR types have strong defensive capabilities and are unflinching in the face of most enemy attacks. HR - The well-balanced all around type that is able to perform respectably in almost all scenarios. Hero (HR), Elite (EL), Berserker (BS), and Special (SP). Which means that even if my opponent decides to pop SSB on me in a fight, I can counteract that crap with my own equivalent transformation! Every race gets the same amount of transformations, and they are all relatively the same power scale (SS2, SS3, God and Blue, respectively). Once your opponent went Super Saiyan in Fusions, you were pretty much done, if you didn't do the same thing.ĭragon Ball Heroes does not seem to have this same flaw. In both Fusions and Xenoverse, the attention given to Saiyans was absolutely infuriating, because they were buffed to the point where playing any other race was nearly useless against them. I'm bored with them, by this point! I want to see what the rest of the multiverse has to offer in terms of power and accomplishments! You can only keep a specific character archetype interesting for so long, and Saiyans have been at the forefront of every story arc for over 20 years now.
DRAGON BALL HEROES ANDROID BERSERKER SERIES
It's not that I hate the Saiyans as a concept, I'm just sick of seeing them hog all the spotlight, and none of the other races in the series getting a fair and balanced treatment. I have absolutely zero intention of ever playing a Saiyan avatar, regardless of what perks the game offers them. Unless you count the "Offworlder" from Fusions, but that race was more of a hybrid between Kai and Majin, to be honest. The reason why I wouldn't choose Namekian, Majin, or Frieza is because I've already had my fill of playing them in both Xenoverse and Fusions.Īndroids, Kais and Demons are races I haven't had the opportunity to try out. The story probably won't change much, but playing somebody who is a literal god would be an amusing idea. I don't know how many save slots we're allowed to have, but if we can have more than one character, I'll eventually give Supreme Kai and Demon God a try. NO, Xenoverse fans, playing an "Earthling" isn't good enough for me, because the actual Androids clearly state that you aren't one of them! I have wanted to play an Android OC since Ultimate Tenkaichi, but none of the other games have seen fit to give me that option. I'm leaning towards Berserker class right now, but I might be tempted to give Elite a try, depending on if it's gender locked to female, or not. Assuming that this game allows you to choose your avatar like the previous games in the series did, my first play through is going to be Android.
